This release deserves more than 1 review and 6 ratings http://www.rateyourmusic.com. It's an essential album for all interested in the mid-nineties garage-scene. It's the Oblivians early recordings, before the Soul Food album ( mostly that is ). Raw, primitive garage full of soul. Rocking like a ton of bricks (quote from Albini), praising the lord like Rev. Charlie Jackson. Just punk, some country, shaken with a great shot of rock&roll, rhythm&blues and you got it. Should get 1/2 star extra, because of great liner notes by Monsieur Jeffrey Evans.
